- Birth: Nov. 1, 1925p>Obituary: Posted: Tuesday, Aug 26th, 2014was born on November 1, 1925 in Sanford, Colorado to Alma Leroy Crowther and Sarah Iva Brothers Crowther. Everet was married and sealed to Lois Jean Mayfield on September 66, 1949 at the Manti Temple. Everet ran his own plumbing business and was a Master Plumber, holding the oldest active plumbing license in the state of Colorado. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, watching the Denver Broncos and keeping up with all of the local valley athletics teams. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and children. Everet was very active in the L.D.S. Church and held many callings. He was past president of the young men’s group, stake mmissionary group and the High Priest group. As a young man, Everet served in the Southern States Mission. He and Lois later served a mission together in Seeley Lake, Montana.ish (Steve) Maes of Carlsbad, California, Garth (Tracey) Crowther of Bountiful, Tom (Mickie) Crowther of Centralia, Kansas, Shawn (Kandice) Crowther of Yokosuka, Japan and Corey (Amy) Crowther of Sanford, 31 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren as well as his siblings; Norman (Coleen) Crowther, Quintin Crowther, Clela Shawcroft and Delora Fox as well as numerous nieces and nephews.p;e held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday August 26, 2014 at the Sanford 1st Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A visitation will be held from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm Monday August 25, 2014 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Manassa and from 10:00 am- 10:45 am prior to the service on Tuesday in the Sanford Relief Society room at the church. Burial will follow in the Sanford Cemetery.
