Edwin Hansen Dies At His Home in East Bountiful, June 23rd
Edwin Hansen, 52, son of Julius and Bertha Jacobson Hansen, died Tuesday evening at his home in Bountiful He suffered from a stroke about six weeks ago which resulted in paralysis leaving hum helpless and speechless.
Mr Hanson was born July 31, 1879 at Racine, Wisconsin He came to Utah as a mere boy, and lived in Salt Lake City where he married Emily Olson in 1905 After their marriage, the couple moved to Lark, Utah, where they lived up until ten years prior to his death, when he moved to Bountiful.
Besides his widow he is survived by six sons and daughters Edwin, Virginia, Richard, Earl, Paul and Jack Hansen, Bountiful.
Funeral services were held yester day afternoon in the Bountiful Tabernacle, Bishop Quayle Cannon presiding The musical numbers were rendered by a quartet consisting of L T. Thompson, John A Call, Emily B Holbrook and Kate Zesiger. A vocal solo, "Face to Face" by LT Thompson. The speakers were, Bishop Thompson of Lark, Ephraim Tolman, John Bowen, and Bishop Cannon. Interment took place in the Bountiful cemetery.
